Healthy & Tasty Chinese Menu Initiative
Downtown Hospital and Healthfirst have collected more than 140 personal recipes from members of various senior centers and community organizations within the Hospital's catchment area, and 15 finalists were reviewed and taste-tested by a panel of judges on April 15th in the Hospital Cafeteria. The 11 winning recipes will be included in the Hospital's inpatient Chinese Menu and published in a cookbook to be distributed to community organizations, senior centers, physician offices and Hospital patients. This innovative initiative will improve patient satisfaction and once again demonstrate the commitment of Downtown Hospital and Healthfirst to their Chinese patients and the community.
