THE ELIZABETH BLACKWELL SOCIETY OF NEW YORK DOWNTOWN HOSPITAL

Elizabeth Blackwell, M.D., lived a life of exemplary service. The first female physician in the Unites States, Dr. Blackwell is still honored today for her dedication to patient care, her commitment to medical excellence, and for her contributions to the fields of medicine, education, and equal rights.

The Elizabeth Blackwell Society has been created to ensure the continuation of Dr. Blackwell's mission through the programs and services of the hospital she helped to found 150 years ago, New York Downtown Hospital.

To become a member of The Elizabeth Blackwell Society, please send your charitable donation of $250 or more to: NYDH-Blackwell Society, Office of Development and Public Affairs, New York Downtown Hospital, 83 Gold Street, New York, NY 10038.

Every gift is 100% tax deductible and will be used to continue Dr. Blackwell's tradition of compassionate, quality care and medical excellence.
