New York Downtown Hospital's highly respected Pediatric Department provides child friendly services for more than 8,000 pediatric visits annually. Our services include subspecialty clinics such as Pediatric Cardiology, which operates on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; Pediatric Allergy clinic which operates alternate Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Pediatric Endocrinology clinic which operates alternate Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Our pediatric clinic staff members are bilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Spanish speaking staff are available upon request.

The Hospital’s Pediatric Department provides 24-hour coverage for pediatric Emergency Room patients. Its new, level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides state of the art technology and the latest neonatal therapies for new born infants in need of a higher level of care.
