Available PositionBacteriology Lab Technologist Part-Time position available. BS degree in Medical Technology or Biology or equivalent. Technologist license from the New York City Department of Health required. 2-3 years experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist preferable. Must be computer literate, able to use all related laboratory equipment, have manual dexterity, and capable of performing with speed and accuracy under constant pressure. Patient Advocate Associate Full time and per-diem positions available. Candidate must be fluent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). HS diploma or equivalency is required, College education is preferred. At least 1 years experience in translation/customer service preferably in a healthcare setting. Must be computer literate (MS Word, Access and Excel). LPN Full time position available for our DMA faculty practice and a part time position available in our MSC OB/GYN department. Must have graduated from an accredited LPN school of nursing. Current state licensure as an LPN and CPR certificate is required. 2+ years experience in a healthcare facility is preferred. Looking for candidates with experience in internal medicine for the full-time position and those with experience in OB/GYN for our part time vacancy. Housekeeping Worker Full-Time shift available. Must be able to read and speak English. 3-6 months of hospital housekeeping experience preferred. Perform variety of housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean, sanitary hospital. Tasks will be performed throughout the hospital and adjacent outside areas/off site locations. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Medical Assistant We are currently seeking full-time medical assistants. HS diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant certificate or equivalent and BCLS certification is required. Must be familiar with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Chinese speaking (Cantonese and Mandarin) is preferred. Medical Secretary HS diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year secretarial experience in a health care environment is required. Ability to type 55-60 WPM is essential. Must be computer literate, have knowledge of MS office and capable of typing from dictating equipment. OR Technician Full-time position available. HS diploma or equivalent. Graduate of accredited school of Surgical Technology required. Minimum of three years experience needed. Current BLS certification required, CST certification preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills, be able to handle equipment and instruments correctly to ensure usability and safety of supplies and have a working knowledge of medical terminology. Telephone Operator Full time position available. HS diploma or equivalent is required. Chinese speaking (Cantonese and Mandarin) is preferred. Responsibilities involve answering a high volume of calls and scheduling appointments daily. Patient Care Technician Per-Diem positions available. HS diploma or equivalent is required. Must have completed a training program approved by the Division of Nursing. BCLS certification and previous experience as a Nurse’s Aide or certification is required. Registered Pharmacist Full time & per diem positions available. Rotating shifts & weekends. Requirements include: bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy, licensed to practice as a pharmacist in the state of New York. Hospital pharmacy experience preferable. Bilingual (Chinese /English) is a plus. Responsibilities include unit/dose distribution, I.V. admixture/TPN preparation and antibiotic/drug monitoring. Staff Physical Therapist Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. No previous experience is required, however one year work experience is preferred due to the level of independent decision making required. NYS license in Physical Therapy required. Bilingual Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) preferred. X-Ray Technicians Per-diem positions available. HS Diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited school of radiologist technology. New graduates acceptable; 2-5 years experience preferred. Previous experience in Computerized Tomography is preferred. NYS Radiologist Technologist License required. Must be a Registered ARRT.
