We can proudly say that the medical research department of New York Downtown Hospital (NYDH) ranks as the first institution of its kind to enroll patients in a multi-center respiratory trial and the first to perform curative cancer surgery on a pregnant uterus. We are also one of the few New York City hospitals to receive the Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program Award.
