Boris Petrikovsky, M.D., completed his postgraduate training at SUNY Downstate/Maimonides Medical Center ( Brooklyn, NY ) and his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Connecticut in 1988. That same year he was a visiting researcher at Kings College School of Medicine (London, UK), specializing in Fetal Medicine and Surgery. From 1992 to 1999 he served as Chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Petrikovsky is the Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the New York Downtown Hospital. In addition, he is a Fellow, American College of Surgeons and the recipient of the 2007 Excellence Award by the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. Dr. Petrikovsky is a pioneer of endoscopy in labor.
