Dr. Bruce Logan is a graduate of Colby College and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. He served as Chairman of Medicine, Senior Vice President for Emergency and Ambulatory Services, and Chief Medical Officer at New York Downtown Hospital before becoming its President and CEO in December, 2003. In April of 2008 he returned to the private practice of medicine.
He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Assistant Dean at Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Logan maintains an active clinical practice and has been listed in NY Magazine on multiple occasions as one of the New York’s Best Doctors.
Dr. Logan is the recipient of a number of prestigious honors including the Health Care Chaplaincy Wholeness of Life Award and the Elizabeth Blackwell Medal.
