Warren Chin, M.D.
Introduction	Dr. Chin is Director of Asian Cardiac Services at New York Downtown Hospital. Following completion of his fellowship in cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Chin worked as a cardiology consultant for HIP, and, in 1990, followed his dream to open a private practice in the heart of the New York Chinese community. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Chin is also a founding member of the Chinese American Healthy Heart Coalition, formed in 2000 to promote cardiovascular awareness and health diet in the community. Since 2000, he has been a board member of the Chinese American Medical Society (CAMS), where he recently served as President. Dr. Chin is a founding member and Vice President of the Chinese American Cardiovascular Association, an organization that unites the Chinese American cardiovascular specialists in New York City. He is on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association (NY) and the Chinese Independent Practice Association (CAIPA).
