Introduction  Dr. Phillips is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

After earning his medical degree from University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, Dr. Phillips completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan. Dr. Phillips later completed a fellowship in Advanced Clinical Training in Foot and Ankle Surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan.
