Dr. Meyerson is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Sports Medicine. He served as sports medicine program coordinator for the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center Orthopaedic Surgical Residency Training Program for the past twelve years. He is a past president of the Brooklyn Orthopaedic Society.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia College, Dr. Meyerson earned his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn. He then completed a general surgery internship at Kings County Hospital Brooklyn, an orthopaedic surgery residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, and a sports medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute/New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Meyerson specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder as well as orthopaedic trauma.
