Introduction	It is my privilege to join with the multi-disciplinary Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Program at New York Downtown Hospital dedicated to creating a safe and satisfying experience for our elder citizens when their care requires hospitalization. Using a team approach to care, the ACE Program works to provide comprehensive, effective and safe hospital stays for a special population. Dr. Scanlan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.
