Ok-Kyong Chaekal, M.D.
Introduction	Dr. Chaekal holds an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and a medical degree from Indiana University where she also did her clinical training in Internal Medicine. She practiced for several years as a General Internist on the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine before pursuing Hematology/Oncology training at the University of Illinois. She then practiced as a Hematologist/Oncologist at the University of Chicago and in Tinley Park, Illinois. Dr. Chaekal joined the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at New York Downtown hospital in April 2012 and is Medical Director of the infusion suite. Dr. Chaekal is an experienced general oncologist with specific interest in the management of breast cancer. She is board certified in Medical Oncology and has a long experience of participating in clinical trials.
